What do I need to become a Spinner?
First and foremost, a love of laundry and loads of experience!
We’re looking for washing wizards and drying dynamos who want to earn money putting their sud-tastic skills to use.
If you make light work of dark stains or have been told you’re fabulous at folding, this is the gig for you! We’ll take you through a simple certification process after which you’ll be a qualified, trusted member of the Spinaway team.
Each Spinner needs a smartphone, the means to pick up and drop off loads, access to a well-kept washing machine and dryer (of standard 8kg size or bigger), the ability to pass a standard background check, and an Australian Business number (ABN), which is an easy process we can help guide you through.

How much money will I make?
You will make a minimum of 75% on every order you take. Plus, you can expect promotions and rewards the more you Spin!
The more orders you take, the more your bank balance will grow!
How do I learn everything I need to know to become a Spinner?

Can I only work in my own area?
Nope! Every Spinner’s radius is initially set to 5km but it’s easy to extend or reduce if you want to grow your customer base by travelling further afield or just limit to your local area.

What if a customer isn’t happy with their order?
We offer all of our customers Spinaway’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
This means that they can request an order be redone if they’re unhappy with the job, so long as the request is lodged within 7 days of the completed order being received.
What if a customer’s item is lost or damaged?
When the damage or incident is the responsibility of the Spinner, that Spinner is responsible for the excess (up to $1000) or the cost of the damage.
When the damage or incident is NOT the responsibility of the Spinner, Spinaway will cover the excess (up to $1000) or the cost of the damage.
Please note that for any orders to have the benefit of Spinaway Insurance, which covers lost or damaged items, they must have been booked, assigned, and completed via the Spinaway marketplace.
What is Spinaway Insurance?
Spinaway Insurance is a third-party liability policy provided by Zurich Australia Limited that insures Spinners on the Spinaway marketplace for their liability to customers in the case of damage to their laundry.
The liability insurance is on a claims made and notified basis which means that the policy limit, terms and conditions which are applicable to a notified claim are those of the current policy period when the claim is notified – not when the claim occurs (if outside the current policy period). These may also be different from the liability insurance terms and conditions in place when the task contract was entered into if it also was in a different policy period.

What is not covered by Spinaway Insurance?
If a lost or damaged item is the responsibility of the Spinner, that Spinner is responsible for the excess (up to $1000) or the cost of the damage.
Damage to first party property (your own things, like your washing machine) or injury to yourself is not covered under this policy. This policy is not intended to replace cover for your own property or worker’s compensation or personal accident or sickness policy for yourself.
